Interesting aside - I'm a Lutheran pastor & Chaplain, disabled for the last 15 years. My uncle - the late Reverend Roger Klemz - ordained me in August 1995 and he was ordained by a bishop in the apostlic succession, so I'm in the apostolic succession as well. This is not the universal practice among Lutherans in North America, it's about evenly divided.
Anglicans & Episcopalians are all considered to be in the apostlic succession by virtue of the way English King Henry VIII split the English church from the Roman.
